Would you like to Know God and Understand how to follow Jesus?
Are you ready for things to be different in your life? Do you ask yourself “What's Point”? Find yourself curious about what it takes to begin a relationship with God? Most people think they must clean up their act, become a better person, or do something good before God will accept them. Believe it or not, none of those things work…. however, God has made it very clear in the bible how we can know Him.
The 4 principles below will help you understand how you can personally begin a relationship with God, through His Son, Jesus.
Before we move on, I’d love for you to watch this short video.
Principle 1
God Loves you and He Has a Plan for your Life.
The Bible says, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16.
Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life and that they may have
it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
Principle 2
The problem is that we have all sinned
and that separates us from God
“All Have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). We were all created to have fellowship with God but our nature is to be stubborn and self-willed, choosing to go our own way. When we choose self-will, trusting in our own opinions and feelings, rather than acting on and trusting in God’s truth, this is what the Bible calls sin.

The Bible says, “The wages of sin is death: (Romans 6:23). This means we all have a spiritual separation from God.
Principle 3
The Good News is, God Sent His SOn to Die for Our Sins.
Jesus is the only way to restore that relationship with God. Jesus died in our place.
“God demonstrated His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8)

Jesus lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the price for our sins.

“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 st Corinthians 15:3-4).

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
Principle 4
It’s Not Enough to Know the 3
Principles. Each Person Must Accept
Jesus as Their Savior and Lord,
Receiving God’s Forgiveness.
“As many as received Him to them He gave the right to become children of God, We Must Receive Christ even to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).
We can’t earn the gift of salvation; we receive it by faith in Jesus.
“By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

“Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and
opens the door, I will come in to him” (Revelation 3:20).

All you must do is believe you are a sinner, separated from God. Believe that Christ died for your sins, ask His forgiveness, and turn from your sin which is called repentance. Right now you can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and invite Him to come into your life as your Lord and Savior.

If you desire to do this, here is a suggested prayer you can pray.
“Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you into my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve You always.”
